The bf and I went to see The Day the Earth Stood Still. Longass name, strange plot, silly ending. It was pretty interesting, and I would say it was worth watching, until the lameass ending. Wtf is that? Anyway, I'll leave it up to you guys to make your decision on whether to watch the movie. I do want to watch some of the new upcoming movies though, like Knowing (with Nick Cage) and Taken. Looks pretty interesting, and I'm hoping it's not lame like some of the movies that have been coming out lately.

Oh the sunset. We waited for the sunset, and when it did happen, it was gone in like 30 seconds! WTF! Anyway, can you tell which pics are taken with my new phone and which by a digicam? Okay, anyway, enough with beach pictures. This thanksgiving break was WAY too short! Usually, I'd be bored out of my mind each day, but thanks to the new boy, it seems that my entire month has flown by and I've been busy having too much fun! So, we went to the beach, and that began my thanksgiving break. When we got back, he went to church with me.... and ate a lot. Then we went shopping that day. He tricked me and said he wanted to get something, and ended up getting me a bunch of stuff, then went out to dinner. I should've taken pics! Well, I have a few, but they didn't come out very cute.

Well, then Monday, I bought him dinner. We were wearing matching polos, ahahaha.


Then Tuesday... my mom invited him for dinner. She told me to invite him because she didn't want us going out and spending money, but she said it in a way like she didn't care. Said she wasn't going to prepare a lot of food....... but she did. Ahahaha, my mom's such a dork.

Wednesday, Jin and I met up with one of my really good friends, Virginia, for lunch, during his lunch break. Then we grabbed some coffee and chatted away, and she seemed to really like him, especially a lot more than the last guy :p

Then Thursday, we had our annual thanksgiving LUNCH. Jin came over too, and ate lots of food and hung out with all my relatives. Then we headed over to his brother's place to eat with his mom for dinner. His mom also invited the people who were stuck in the lonesome college down whose parents weren't here in the states. How sweet of her!


That night, we drove up to Atlanta, to catch the midnight sale at some outlet mall. I didn't know where we were going until I got to the place, and realized it was the place I came to a few years ago. Anyway, the place was fcking PACKED. Ridiculous. We had to park way on the other side in a Walmart parking lot (which was packed cuz of the cars who couldn't find parking for the mall). We arrived around 12:30 and shopped till around 5am. It was awful. The other 4 that we tagged along with were upset that they didn't get to buy much because of all the waiting in lines and the mass of people, and Jin and I were soo tired that we could barely walk around. But here's a pic we took at Guess? while we were in line to check out...


That night/morning, we slept over at a friend's place, who provided us with yummy gamja tang and some more food in the morning.

Friday, we were still in Atlanta, and left the place around noon. Jin and I went to get some Suno (probably my fav dessert of all time).


Then met up with the rest of the group at H-mart. They headed off to Lenox Mall to do some more shopping, and we went to White Windmill to chill out for a bit, then to Discover Mall to catch Transporter 3. It was an okay movie. Lots of nonsense action and things that doesn't make sense in real life, and Jason Statham took off his shirt every chance he got. I suppose that was worth the $10. Later that night, we went to Honey Pig to eat some goood sam gyup sal!


It eventually turned into this bibimbap stuff, but oh my god, it was sooo good. Here's another pic that we snapped while we were waiting on the food.



After that, we met up with my brother, my cousin, and a friend, and headed off to noraebang! Had some drinks, ate some more, and sang our hearts away, before heading back down to Auburn.

Saturday............. we watched the Iron Bowl. It was extremely disappointing. I was so sad to see that we were shut out, completely. Anyway, I threw a party that night, and we all had a good time. I probably shouldn't show the pictures from that night, but mind you, it was my place, so I didn't drink too much. And like usual, Jin says he'll take care of me, then ends up getting drunk. It's kind of funny, actually. Anyway, the next morning, we (well, I, since he was too busy sleeping) had this to clean up:


Plus 100+ cigarette butts out my front door. Jin picked it all up.... with chopsticks. Ahahahah.

So yea, that was pretty much my Tgiving break in a picturefilled nutshell. I didn't have classes today, so I got to clean my room and now I'm waiting on Jin to come home so we can grab some coffee and head over to the library to prepare for my final tests of the semester... then onto finals. Ahh, the winter break is near! AND SO IS FCKING CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trying New Things + Beach Trip

I guess a lot happened this week! Jin and I went on a beach trip to Panama City on Friday and got back Saturday night. Wow, it was freaaaaaaaking cold around midnight when we went out onto the beach Friday night... but Saturday was beautiful. Not a speck of cloud in the sky, clear waters, white sand... it was perfect.

Before we left for the beach, I curled my hair with a straightening iron! Turnout? SOO CUTE. Or at least I think, haha.



Anyway, I will update with beach pictures soon. I need to get ready to go work out with my baby, haha. Oh, and it looks like my mom is somewhat interested in him. She invited him for Thanksgiving this Thursday and it looks like he'll join us... oh man...

AU vs UGA. :(

Sucks that I have to compare, but my weekends have been nothing but fun since I met Jin! Friday, Jin and I went to ASF (Alabama Shakespeare Festival... apparently the 11th biggest Shakespeare theater in the world) to watch A Christmas Carol (the story about Scrooge). After watching, we went to get dinner with my brother and cousin, who came down to go watch the AU vs UGA game the day after. After grabbing dinner with Jin's friends and my bro + cousin, we headed back up to Auburn. Jin, Ian (my brother), and Alex (the cousin), pretty much got trashed that night, and I decided to be responsible and stay the designated driver. Yup... then we went to bed around 5am that night, when we were planning to be up and out of the house by 9am for the 11:30 game.

Saturday morning, we did get up, but everyone was too tired to go out. So we ended up leaving around 11 to pick up Jin, then get to the game around 11:45. We missed the kick off and first few minutes of the first quarter, but it was all good. I would've taken my camera to the game, but I hate lugging stuff around the whole time, and figured I could take pics with my phone... and wow, I am amazed at the quality! Here are a few I snapped at the game.

Anyway, then my brother and cousin headed back down to Montgomery after taking a nap. Jin and I ended up going to a friend's birthday party, and it was a bit awkward at first, because most people knew each other, but weren't close. Eventually, after a few people left, things lightened up. Jin was the oldest there, and I was the youngest... and they were calling me hyungsoo nim..................


wtf.

LOL. I laughed about it the whole night. I don't know if I can get used to be called that! Anyway, I figured Jin would end up drinking a lot, so I only had 2-3 shots early in the night and was gonna call it a night. This guy Eric thought I had to drive back an hour to drive Jin home that night, and was letting me off easy when he found out that I lived in Auburn and everyone decided to make me drink. My body took alcohol very well that night, and after 15 shots and then some, I was all good! I chilled out for about an hour before I drove back home around 4:30.

Sunday, we woke up around noon, and grabbed lunch at a local chinese restaurant to get some jjambbong and kkan poong gee. mmm!!!

Sigh... as much as things have been good and fun, Chris talked to me today, and he seems really heart broken. He says he loves me and is tired of waiting, and told me that he misses me and is really sorry for what he's done in the past. He admitted that he took me for granted but it will change in the future, and that he promises that. Then he reminded me that he never breaks his promises...

awflekjlwkfjawef as much as I was tired of always waiting on him, I feel bad for him now.


Anyway, Jin is actually 25, turning 26 a week before I turn 20. lol. A lot of people think he's around 22-23 though, so I guess it's not bad. Except sometimes, people think I looke 15-17...... wtf. He graduated from here with a degree in Architecture back in 06, then picked up a Master's from UIUC last year. Now he's finishing up his intern thing and studying for the 9 exams he has to take...

Ok I'm rambling about random stuff, so I need to stop blogging before I start talking nonsense. I'll post more pictures soon! haha.

New Guy :)

Chris and I had our talk, and he was super excited to see me. He said all things he could and promised me that things will change, and he will give me more attention and etc etc. He seemed genuine and seemed like he wanted to work things out, telling me things like, our problems aren't as big as some of other people's, and that it could easily be resolved if I gave him another chance. I just left him that night after telling him that I'd like time to think about it (although I've already moved on and picked up a new bf, lol). He dropped me off with tears in his eyes, and I felt pretty bad. Since then, he's been practically begging me to come back and telling me everyday that he misses me and wants to see me. Sigh.

Anyway, aside from that, Jin has been nothing but full of awesome. So far. Hahaha. Anyway, he's been coming up to see me just about everyday, right after work, and leaving late and losing sleep to be at work again at 8am. It's about 45-50min drive to and from, and I feel bad about it. Too bad I can't do anything about it at the moment, since the license is still suspended! Dammit.

So, tonight, he asked me to be his date (before we began dating) to go see this play at the Shakespeare Festival. His work is hosting it, so we'll be there with all his coworkers. Tomorrow is the UGA vs AU game. We're probably going to lose, but Jin and I are gonna be attending, cheering the tigers on... and my brother and cousin (who happens to be a Dawgs fan) will also be there. Anyway, with the new phone and all, Jin and I have been taking loads of pictures! This guy doesn't mind taking pictures, even silly ones, if it makes me happy, or if we're both in it. hahaha, I love it!

Anyway, last night, he had to attend some young professionals party or something, then asked me if he could come up to see me again. I was fine with it, but I told him I had to study. So he came up shortly after, so he could go to the library with me... while I studied and he worked on his presentation for next week. Where has he been all this time?

As of Sunday, Jin and I are official. Yesterday, he bought me the new phone from Tmobz. He also picked one up too so now we have matching phones...

Chris has been messaging me and it looks like he wants to get back together. I'm supposed to meet up with him tonight to talk things through with him and hopefully everything goes alright.

Feeling Better

Not quite. The day after I broke up with Chris, my dad tells me my license is suspended. Great. Apparently the ticket I got sometime last month or so didn't get taken care of, and now I have a big fat $300 fine to pay to the court, on top of the $100 to the Department of Public Safety before I can legally drive again. Wtf. Oh well, it worked out that I broke up with Chris, since now I can request rides from anyone I want without having to worry about Chris getting jealous :p

I should've posted up more pictures from Halloween. I think I will. Not sure when though! To answer some questions...

I actually didn't buy it myself. I wasn't planning on dressing up this year either. It just so happens that I went home for my dad's birthday, and my friend told me that her costume was also at home (she's at a different city for school at the moment) and that I should pick it up and wear it. And so I did. Thanks to her, it looks like everyone enjoyed my costume. Hehehe.

Fuz: Dating IS a lot of fun, but I need to start thinking ahead, and think about how Christmas, my birthday, and New Years is fastly approaching! I have plently of candidates, and I think I've found one, but I'm taking my time. Ahh, I think it drives him crazy inside. I love it. LOL

Jess D: I totally agree about not wasting time on someone who's not worth it! Granted, he's not a bad person, but I just couldn't be around him anymore when he wouldn't put aside time and effort into seeing me and for me to do so for him. It just isn't fair, you know? And I understand that I don't need to be tied up with just this guy for the rest of my life. It's not like I'm looking to get married and am desperate :p

Wendy: It's awesome that you're Korean! Are you fluent? Maybe you've had a mix of something far up in your gene pool and you ended up with super gorgeous non-Asian looking features. I really adore your sharp features :p Look at me, I look like mashimaro half the time. Actually, my friends do call me mashimaro but that's a different story...


Anyway, last night, after catching dinner with my friend Sohee and Jin, I decided to go pick up my wii from Chris's. He's been bugging me to grab it ever since we broke up, and I was getting annoyed. I could get the hints that he wanted to talk about it, but fuck that! Hahaha. I don't know, I'm easily suaded sometimes, and it probably wasn't a good idea to talk about it, especially before I took a firm stance on what I wanted. So we drove there, and Chris opens the door for me, and notices that someone in a Jeep is waiting outside. Curious, he asks me whose car it was, and I told him it was a friend's, and that I'm not allowed to drive due to the license issue (I've already explained this to him the day before). He asks who's in the car, and I name them (not like he's ever met them before) and immediately ask for my games. Hahahahah. As soon as I got them, I grabbed them and walked out. I could tell that he wanted to say something, but didn't. He then texts me few minutes later, I guess feeling sorry at the loss of opportunity to talk to me. He said something like "So much for talking... I guess it's better this way anyway. Ill see you around." I felt kind of bad, but I explained that it was him who abruptly suggested breaking up and that my friends were waiting out in the car. He said it looked like I didn't care at all, and blah blah blah.

Actually, I guess Ill have to leave you guys hanging at the moment, because Jin, Sohee and I plus a few are heading to Atlanta again tonight. She just popped out of the shower, so I need to start getting ready. Once I return though, I promise you all a shitload of pictures! Mm!!

New beginning

I broke up with Chris. But more on that later.

So, I had a good time this Halloween. I met a lot of new people, and had fun. Pictures to follow!







So yeah, I broke up with Chris today. I don't really feel bad, considering I kinda knew it was going to happen sooner or later. I actually got pretty fed up with all that's been happening lately, and I didn't feel the need to wait around any longer when I could go out and be single, or get other guys who'd treat me better. That's the end of that, I suppose.

I did meet a bunch of guys Friday night. One of them, happens to be really into me haha. I've been hanging out with him a lot lately, and he felt bad that I had a bf and still was pursuing me, but he thought that he would never know unless he tried. So he did, and we're cool, and turns out that I'm single now. He seems really happy about that fact, but seems a little impatient. I want some time to myself before I commit again. Anywho, he's really cool. We're actually heading to Atlanta this weekend, and he's already planning a lot of things ahead. He seems like he wants to travel... haha, oh well.


Oh yeah, the doctor says I'm midly anemic. Looks like I need to start taking care of my body.

I came back from "studying" tonight, and instead of finishing up the studying, I sat around and played with make up and took pictures. Wtf is wrong with me, lol.

I did feel like I got the brown smokey look down though. I never really wore eyeshadows, since I had a hard time making them show without overdoing it with my monolids. I feel like if I can get this down, I can do other colors... so I guess you guys can look out for those! haha.

The bf's house is gorgeous. I love the kichen. LOVEEE it.

The APR BBQ is this weekend, and the bf is suggesting that I don't go, because he'll be working all day and doesn't want me bored. Not sure what I want to do yet...

After the stats quiz tomorrow, I'll be done until next Thursday! What does that mean? Time to party!

Speaking of party, I met this guy last week over at a friend's house, but we didn't introduce ourselves because it was kind of awkward. The next day, he was over at a friend's birthday party, and I could tell that he was into me. Before he even got buzzed/drunk, he was already showing interest, and it went downhill from there. He was all over me by the end of the night. Know what sucks though? He's SOOO CUTE. LOL. I don't think I've really attracted guys before, especially asian guys. Lately, it seems that more often than not, the new guys I meet are attracted to me. It's all flattering, but kinda sucks since I have a bf! I'm loving the attention though, haha. Anyway, if I decide not to head to the BBQ, I'll probably end up partying with some of my friends...

As much as Chris has been busy lately with his work and can barely afford to see me once or twice a week (although he saw me about 4 times last week, he was dead tired and it just felt like he was physically there), I'm not sure how I feel about this whole thing. Yesterday, I was out at a dinner with the said cute guy (to clear up a misunderstanding--he was super sorry about not respecting my boundaries since he heard I was single) and we just talked the whole night about random stuff. While I was at starbucks with him after dinner, the whole time I was waiting on Chris to call me. He told me to head over to his place at 930, and I told him to give me a call when he was heading home so I could head over with him. I never got a call, so I shot him a text around 9, then another around 945. He finally calls back around 1030, telling me he was tied up at work with some asshole, and was still working. He said he was really sorry, and said he would make it up to me the next day. I shrugged it off and said it was fine, and told him I'd see him tomorrow (which was today). I then realize that I'd normally be really upset about feeling stood up, except I was having a good time with someone else and didn't feel like I wasted my time, so I didn't feel as bad. But isn't that bad, period? That I was okay with him being busy, which I would usually become upset at if he cancels on me, because I was hanging out with another guy? Not that I have any interest in this guy.

Anyway, I didn't see him tonight because he went home tired, saying he didn't get to bed until around 1am last night and wanted to relax for the night. I was pretty upset that he'd push back again, when he told me this. He then adds that he didn't want to be a zombie when I came over since I've complained about it before (lol, it was because he just sat on the couch, half dozing the whole time I was there, and it felt like he wasn't mentally there). After picking at more things, I guess he felt bad, because he apologized. I'm a sucker for apologies... as soon as he apologized, I stopped being mad at him, and told him it was okay, and that I was fine with seeing him tomorrow. My feelings for him have been up and down lately, and I hope it settles in one direction or another so I can either firmly clear away the guys around me or make a clean break with Chris. Sigh...
